Our mission

The Alliance Française de Tallahassee's mission is to encourage and develop knowledge of the French language and Francophone cultures and to foster cultural, intellectual and artistic exchanges between the people of the Tallahassee area and of French speaking countries.

The Alliance Française de Tallahassee (AFTally) is an independent, non-profit, non-political, non discriminatory organization.

In order to prepare you for this trip, AFTally is planning an all day immersion session “A journey to Morocco” on Saturday, Feb. 13th, 2016, 9am to 3pm.

This is not only an immersion in the French language, but it is also a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the history and cultural heritage of Morocco. Why is it a French speaking country? What are the most important social and cultural aspects to understand? What are the most beautiful traditions and historic sites? Lunch is provided and includes special Moroccan treats as well as a cooking workshop. Registration
